“King of sake rice” Yamada Nishiki
HyogoTerroir Project
The third installment of the “Smiling Together Project” is the “Shinjo” sake, brewed exclusively with Yamada Nishiki rice from the Shinjodistrict. The Yamada Nishiki rice producers in the Shinjo district tasted and decided on the flavor, polishing ratio, and label. The character “Shinjo” represents the characteristic of the sake rice, Shinpaku.
Junmai Ginjo sake is a premium sake made by using only the center of the rice grain and carefully brewing it. It has a fruity and gorgeous aroma, and a soft mouthfeel. It pairs perfectly with light dishes such as seafood and sashimi, and enhances the delicate flavors.
Enjoy the Shinjosake and experience the unique taste of the Shinjo district!
