Our original masu is made with Hinoki wood by skilled craftsmen, one by one.

“Masu” is a container used to pour sake, made of cedar or cypress, which has been used in Shinto rituals and shrine construction.

When you drink sake from a masu, the aroma of Hinoki wood is transferred, and you can enjoy a different taste than usual.

 The fragrance that spreads when you pour Japanese sake into a masu made of Hinoki wood has been found to have an effect of calming the mind and making you feel glamorous and delicious.

It is also recommended to drink Japanese sake with “mokkiri”.

If you put a glass in a masu and pour plenty of Japanese sake until it overflows, you can enjoy it as if you were in a Japanese izakaya bar.
